Adding a YouTube Feed to Your Signature
You can choose to add a YouTube feed to your signatures, embedding the latest video you’ve uploaded to your channel directly under your signature.
To do that, follow these steps:
1. Create a Feed
Go to the YouTube Feed section on Signite’s left menu.
https://app.signite.io/youtube
If you haven’t created a feed before, you should see the Create Feed interface.
2. Enter the Channel ID
To automatically get your channel’s latest video, enter your YouTube channel ID.
You can get the channel ID from your YouTube account’s advanced settings (https://www.youtube.com/account_advanced):
- 1. Sign in to YouTube.
- 2. In the top right, select your profile picture and then Settings.
- 3. From the left menu, select Advanced settings.
- 4. You’ll see your channel’s user and channel IDs.
- 5. Copy the Channel ID and paste it into this field.

3. Give the Feed a Title
Immediately after adding the channel ID, the Signite will automatically populate the feed title based on your channel name.
You an choose to change it at any time.
This field is used mainly to help you find the feed when adding it to the module, so choose a title that will help you know which feed it is.

4. Add a Call to Action (Optional)
Using the Call to Action field allows you to add a short sentence to entice your audience to click the YouTube video

5. Finish the Feed Creation Process
Click the Create Feed button to finish the process.

6. Filter Out Videos (Optional)
Add a list of hashtags to filter out of the feed, separated by a coma.
If a video has one of the filtered hashtags, the module will skip it and show the video following it on your channel.
This can also be used to filter out YouTube shorts, by entering the hashtags short and shorts and making sure your shorts are tagged the same.
Make sure the tags are assigned to your videos before you create the feed on Signite, so that there’s minimal delay in getting the initial video list.

7. Add the Feed to Your Signature
Go to your signature template, and under the Footer tab, open the YouTube Feed drop down menu, and choose the feed you’ve created.

Update the template and deploy it to your users as you see fit.
8. Updating the Feed With the Latest Video
If you’ve uploaded a new video but you can’t see it in the feed, make sure that it doesn’t have a filtered tag assigned to it, and refresh the feed from the Refresh button in the YouTube Feed list screen
