Signite’s Templates

Signite’s built-in templates are designed to make creating and managing professional email signatures simple, consistent, and reliable – without requiring design or HTML knowledge.

The templates include the elements commonly used in professional email signatures and have been carefully developed and tested for Gmail and other email environments, as well as for different screen sizes and mobile devices.

1. Built-in Templates and Layouts

Signite provides a selection of built-in template layouts that can be customized to match your organization’s branding and signature requirements.

Each template includes a range of predefined fields and elements commonly used in email signatures, such as:

• Name and job title
• Company and department information
• Phone numbers and contact details
• Website and custom links
• Social media icons
• Profile and company images (logos)
• Banners
• Disclaimers and additional text

Available elements can be turned on or off as needed, allowing you to choose exactly which information appears in the signature while maintaining the structure of the selected template.

You can also choose between different template layouts and customize elements such as fonts, colors, sizes, spacing, images, and other available design settings.

This approach provides flexibility when creating signatures while maintaining the tested structure and compatibility of Signite’s templates.

Signite’s templates are carefully developed and tested across different environments, with particular attention to Gmail. The template preview in Signite is designed to accurately represent how the signature will appear once deployed, helping administrators create and review signatures before deploying them to users.

2. Email and Mobile Compatibility

Email signatures are HTML-based, but email clients do not display HTML in exactly the same way as modern web browsers. Different email platforms and devices can interpret signature code differently, which can affect layout, spacing, images, and other elements.

Signite’s templates are therefore built specifically for email use and undergo extensive testing to maintain reliable and consistent rendering across supported environments.

The templates are designed for both desktop and mobile use, helping signatures remain properly structured across different screen sizes and devices.

3. Custom Designs and External HTML

Signite uses its own built-in, tested template system and does not currently support uploading external HTML or creating completely custom-coded signature templates.

External signature HTML can contain structures or styling that behave differently across email clients, devices, and screen sizes. Gmail also applies its own requirements and limitations to email signature HTML.

Using Signite’s built-in templates allows us to maintain greater consistency between the template created in Signite and the signature that is ultimately deployed, while minimizing compatibility and rendering issues.

If you already have a custom signature design, you can use Signite’s available layouts and customization options to create a similar design while keeping the underlying structure compatible with the Signite template system.
