The idea behind Signite is to have a fast and efficient email signature creation, with the ability to embed these signatures in a matter of minutes.

To help with that, Signite’s built-in templates allow for a quick and easy signatures creation and deployment to your organization’s account, without needing prior design knowledge or technical skills.

1. External Signatures / External HTML

External HTML code embedded into the signature may break or deform on different email platforms or screen sizes.
Signite, on the other hand, uses built-in templates, which go under rigorous quality assessment regarding their structure, email platform compliance and mobile displays.

In addition to Gmail’s, there are various restrictions and standards to which the signature HTML code must adhere, to display the email signatures properly.

A standard complying and responsive code is important to keep, especially when displaying on 3rd party platforms (like Outlook), as non-standard or non responsive code may break on these platforms in unexpected ways.
Using Signite’s meticulously coded templates, rather than external code, will enable you to minimize break-points and maximize compatibility with different platforms and devices.

Adding to that, there is Gmail’s 10,000 character limit, which limits the HTML code further, and may cause errors if ignored. Signite’s template take it into account, and allow you to keep tabs on the character use as you add or remove modules from your template.

Given these reasons, it is not possible at the moment to create personal designs and / or use external HTML for your Signite signatures.

2. Mobile Compatibility

Signite’s templates include all required components for email signatures, and are compatible with mobile devices as well as desktop.
